Thor Haesen is a young and committed education professional with a passion for Roman Catholic religion, history, and global citizenship education. He has researched topics such as sustainable development, globalization, and planning skills in Flemish secondary education. He has collaborated on projects for SDSN and UNESCO and was an International Learning Expert at Quantum Labs. He is currently pursuing an accelerated bachelor's degree in Theology and Religious Studies at KU Leuven. Based on his conviction that education can make young people critical, connected, and hopeful, he is committed to inspiring and relevant education that responds to the challenges of a changing world.
