Dr Sulthan Khalifa Haroon Al Rashi
Special Advisor
Dr Sulthan Khalifa is a distinguished leader in sustainability, circular economy, and digital innovation, with extensive expertise in policy development, technology consulting, and strategic partnerships. He currently serves as a Special Advisor at the Global Council for Responsible Transition Minerals at the Paris Peace Forum, shaping policies for responsible resource management in the global energy transition. He previously held key roles at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Accelerator Lab for the Pacific and as Regional Officer for the Asia-Pacific at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth (SDG Students Program). As a Professor of Practice at Villa College, Maldives, he leads research and policy initiatives on sustainability and governance. Holding a PhD from RMIT University, Australia, Dr Khalifa has trained at Anna University, the National University of Singapore, the University of California, Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, and Imperial College London.
