Mark Orrs

Mark is a professor in the Department of Engineering, Design, and Society at the Colorado School of Mines. Dr. Orrs serves as Teaching Assistant to Prof. Jeff Sachs for the Ages of Globalization: Program for Higher Education. His teaching and scholarship examine the nexus of technology, sustainable development, and human flourishing, with a particular focus on Gen Z and - inspired by his three-year-old son – the rising Gen Alpha.
